Born fighter
Jandro was a starter for the Barcelona U19 side that won the UEFA Youth League in 2018. Shortly, the player suffered a serious injury and had to spend much time on the sidelines while the likes of Riqui Puig, Alex Collado, Monchu and some other teammates were promoted to Barca B.
Thankfully, Orellana maintained his level after recovering from injury and earned Barcelona B promotion after a satisfactory season with Juvenil A in which he scored 7 goals and got 7 assists.

Ahead of Barca B's big play-off encounter, Jandro gave a passionate interview in which he emphasised what it means to play for Barca.

More than just defensive midfielder
In the 2018/19 campaign, Orellana was used in a more advanced role, playing as a central midfielder most of the time. Jandro had a bigger impact on Barca's attacks and learned how to find spaces before he returned to his previous role of a defensive mid once again.
Now he's capable of playing in two positions, although his first-choice one remains in the defensive area.
