Araujo opens up on Puyol comparisons and why he likes to stay vocal on the pitch

During his interview with TV3, Ronald Araujo was asked to comment on the fans comparing him to Barcelona legend Carles Puyol.

"It's great that I'm being to Carles Puyol, who is a reference for me and an idol of the club. He's fantastic, but I'm also aware that I have to make my own career."

One of the reasons why Araujo is compared to the legendary Blaugrana captain is because he's so vocal on the pitch. Here's how the Uruguayan explains it.

"When I was a child, I already liked to talk a lot on the pitch and I still do. I talk all the time. It's a way to stay focused on the game and make my teammates do the same. It's useful for me and the team."

This term so far, Araujo played 23 matches for Barca, scoring one goal. Unfortunately, the defender missed a significant part of the season through injuries.
