Barca B to face Real Madrid nemesis Alcoyano, Ilaix could feature

Barca B will clash with Alcoyano today, April 3rd, in their quest to earn promotion to La Liga SmartBank, Spain's second tier.

Interestingly, Alcoyano turned giant killers in January when they knocked out Real Madrid from the Copa Del Rey with a 2-1 win.

Ilaix Moriba may feature in the game to help his peers. It was reported that the 18-year-old still trains with Barca B.

If Ilaix features today, he'll miss Barca's game against Valladolid on Monday.

One good news about the game is that 1000 fans will be allowed into the Johan Cruyff stadium to watch the match.

Barca B are second in their Segunda B group 1 point behind Gimnastic Tarragona. Meanwhile, Alcoyano are also second in their group, 9 points behind Ibiza.

Atletico Madrid fan names his favourite Ronaldo-Messi moment – it started with Cristiano's crazy bet

"My favourite inspirational story in all of football was when Cristiano Ronaldo, 11 goals behind Messi, bet his Real Madrid teammates he'd still win the Pichichi and, after months of hard work, training, dedication, and bags of goals finished the season 12 goals behind Messi," Atletico Madrid fan messixteam posted on Twitter.

Actually, Ronaldo made the crazy bet in November 2017. Messi finished the season (2017/18) with 34 goals to win the Pichichi.

Ronaldo managed 26 league goals in 27 games that season.

Despite Ronaldo leaving La Liga the following season, the Messi-Ronaldo rivalry has continued to rage on.

This season, Messi and Ronaldo are neck-to-neck in terms of league goals, both have bagged 23 for the campaign.
