The world Under-20 Team of The Year has been named by IFFHS – 2 Barca starlets included

Sergino Dest and Ansu Fati are the only Barcelona players to have been included in the World Youth Team of the Year that has been announced by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Pedri, on the other hand, somehow hasn't made the cut with Eduardo Camavinga, Sandro Tonali and Phil Foden forming the midfield trio of the IFFHS U20 XI.

The IFFHS World Youth Team of the Year:

  • RB: Sergino Dest (Barcelona)
  • CM: Sandro Tonali (AC Milan)
  • CAM: Phil Foden (Manchester City)
  • CM: Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes)
  • LW: Ansu Fati (Barcelona)

Barca target Haaland, meanwhile, is the most expensive player on the list as the Norwegian is valued at €110m by Transfermarkt.

Dortmund CEO Watzke pours cold water on Haaland exit rumours, opens door to Sancho's departure

"We do not have a parallel plan. We will discuss this with Erling, his father and his agent Mino Raiola," Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Goal and DAZN.

"We also want him to be happy to stay with us, to score goals for BVB next year with conviction. There is no alternative plan."

Erling Haaland's father Alf-Inge and agent Mino Raiola met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta last week to discuss the 20-year-old's potential move to Camp Nou.

As per reports, it'll be "very difficult" for the Catalans to sign the 20-year-old, who is reportedly valued by BVB at €150m, due to the club's poor financial situation.

While Borussia are determined to keep Haaland, Watzke went on to open the door to Jadon Sancho's exit from the club.

"I'm not getting involved in probabilities, it's no good. Jadon Sancho has been with us much longer than Erling Haaland. We'll have to speak to Jadon too," BVB's chief replied when asked if Sancho and Haaland will be playing for Dortmund in the 2021/22 season.

"If there is an exceptional offer we will discuss it with the player and the agent, as always. Nonetheless, I am very sure that the transfer market will only run to a very limited extent this summer.

"Especially at the really big clubs you can see what kind of wounds coronavirus has inflicted, and they are not small ones that heal within two weeks."

Koeman still insisting on signing Memphis Depay despite Haaland talks: ESPN (reliability: 5 stars)

Ronald Koeman is still keen on signing Lyon forward Memphis Depay despite Joan Laporta's desire to sign Erling Haaland, according to ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens.

The Barcelona president held a meeting with Haaland's father Alf-Inge and agent Mino Raiola last week.

As per ESPN's source's at Camp Nou, Laporta is very aware of the fact that the signing of the €150m-rated striker will be "very difficult" due to the club's poor financial situation.

The same sources say that Koeman is likely to end up with Depay as his new striker this summer as the 27-year-old is set to become a free agent in June.
