Oscar Mingueza will be joining up with the Barcelona B squad for their promotion playoff game against UCAM Murcia on Sunday, the club has confirmed.
This means that he won't be available for Barca's game against Celta Vigo at the weekend.
Barca’s B side need to defeat UCAM Murcia to move into the finals of the Segunda Division B playoffs.
If able to defeat Murcia and then defeat their next opponent after that in the playoffs, Barca B will qualify for the Segunda Division next season.
Illaix Moriba will remain with the senior Barcelona squad for the Celta Vigo game due to Frenkie de Jong’s suspension.
However, the young midfielder could also join up with the B squad for their next playoff game if able to defeat Murcia.

Ronald Araujo has returned to Barcelona training and has trained with the group on Friday, as per Gerard Romero.
It was reported a few days ago that the Uruguayan centre-back’s season was over after he reportedly suffered a relapse to his ankle injury.
However, he’s made a super quick recovery and should be available to pick in Barca’s game against Celta Vigo at the weekend.
Araujo has made 31 appearances for Barcelona this season – helping them keep 11 clean sheets in all competitions.
