Barcelona at crossroads over Aguero-Depay situation due to Koeman uncertainty (reliability: 5 stars)

Barcelona are yet to decide whether to sign Sergio Aguero or Memphis Depay this summer due to growing doubts over Ronald Koeman's future at the helm of the club, according to Gabriel Sans of Mundo Deportivo.

Both the Manchester City striker and the Lyon forward will become free agents at the end of the season. One of the pair is set to become Barca's next No.9, as per reports.

Koeman wants to land his fellow Dutchman while the club's board aren't convinced by Depay. Instead, Laporta is willing to sign Aguero whose arrival is not favoured by the current head coach.

The arrival of either forward will depend on Koeman's stay at Camp Nou beyond the summer - something that hasn't been assured yet, Sans concludes.

Unpopular opinion from Barca fan: 'We should sign Cristiano Ronaldo'

As Juventus are at risk of missing out on the Champions League qualification, some Barcelona fans suggest that the Catalans should consider signing Lionel Messi's iconic rival Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

"If Juventus do not qualify for UCL it's most likely Ronaldo would leave the club and on the other hand we are looking for a finisher and he is one of the best in the world when it comes to this, headers, goals from inside the box and even penalties," Reddit user @theguywithnofcks2giv wrote.

"Moreover, him going to Paris or Manchester will only make the UCL more difficult for us."

With two games to go this season, the Bianconeri are one point adrift of fourth-placed Napoli. Therefore, Ronaldo would arguably want to quit Juve if they continue in the Europa League next term.
