Ballon d'Or power rankings: Messi moves behind Lewandowski after Levante and Celta disasters

Lionel Messi has been leapfrogged by Robert Lewandowski at the top of Tribuna.com's Ballon d'Or power rankings.

It shouldn't come as a big surprise after Barcelona's 3-3 draw at Levante and a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo over the past seven days.

Even though the Argentine found the back of the net in both games, Leo's strikes weren't enough to keep Barca in the La Liga title race.

Lewandowski, meanwhile, scored his 40th league goal of the season in Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw with Freiburg on Saturday to equal Gerd Muller's record from 1971/72.

As a reminder, the Bavarians claimed their ninth consecutive Bundesliga title earlier this month.
