According to La Vanguardia, Ansu Fati's recovery is going well and the 18-year-old 'isn't feeling any discomfort' in his knee for the first time in months. The Barcelona forward doesn't suffer from any pain in his knee and it is no longer swollen, it's said.

Fati's environment expects him to recover in time for Barca's pre-season which is set to start on July 12. Besides, it's claimed that Ansu is doing well mentally too.

The La Masia graduate is currently in Madrid where he is recovering from the knee surgery he underwent in Portugal. Since picking up his injury back in November, Fati has gone under the knife three times.

According to Diario Sport, Ansu Fati is currently in Madrid as he's doing recovery work to be available for Barcelona's pre-season. Despite formally being on vacation, the 18-year-old is focusing on recovering in time.

As per the source, Ansu's day-to-day life looks like this: he wakes up early, does rehab exercises, follows his diet and makes sure to meet his resting hours.

It's said that Fati is yet to return to the running track. After undergoing his third knee surgery, it was decided not to push his recovery and give him as much time as needed.

In the 2020/21 season, Fati played only 10 matches for Barca, recording five goals and four assists. He fractured his meniscus back in November and missed the rest of the season.

"I'm doing very well, improving little by little. I'm going to keep working hard to get to pre-season and be able to help the team..." Ansu Fati told Diario Cuatro after visiting Spain's training session on Friday.

"I want to thank the federation and as well as the coach for the invitation, I was very excited to be here and see my teammates. I wish you good luck in everything that follows, and, hopefully, we can win the Euros," the Barcelona youngster added.

Unfortunately, Fati won't be able to play at the 2020 Euros as he's still out with the injury he picked up back in November. The 18-year-old underwent his fourth knee surgery in Portugal a few weeks back.

In the 2020/21 season, Fati played only 10 matches for Barca, recording five goals and four assists.
