Jean Meneses tries to disrupt Messi's free-kicks twice but Leo silences Chile sh**talker with well-mastered strike

Lionel Messi's stunning free-kick goals wasn't enough for Argentina to kick off their 2021 Copa America campaign with a victory over Chile on Monday as Eduardo Vargas cancelled the Barcelona captain's strike after the break.

What's curious, Chile's Jean Meneses tried to disrupt Leo from scoring twice as he was caught telling something to Messi before the latter's two free-kick attempts.

The 33-year-old silenced his shit-talking counterpart in the 33rd minute with Meneses looking confused after seeing Leo firing the ball into the right top corner.

Jean, however, went on to make another attempt to prevent Messi from scoring in the 72nd minute - a successful one this time around.

The Albiceleste will meet Uruguay in the Group B matchday 2 on Saturday.
