Busquets reportedly ruled out for Spain's next Euro 2020 match after further tests

Barcelona's vice-captain Sergio Busquets underwent another PSC test on Wednesday, June 16, and according to EFE, the results don't permit him to join Spain's squad for the moment.

Thus, the 32-year-old will not be available for La Roja's 2nd match at the 2020 Euros against Poland which is set to take place on June 19, it's claimed. As a reminder, Busquets had tested positive for coronavirus and has been in self-confinement for 10 days now.

The plan now is for Sergio to return to the national team before June 23 when Spain will play Slovakia in the last game of the group stages. Luis Enrique wants the midfielder to be back in form for the potential knock-out matches.
