I don't think so . Busquets is especially needed in the start of the game to control it . If he plays only 30 mins which will probably be at the end , the damage would already have occurred in the first 60 minutes , rather Busquets should play for first 60-70 mins .

Definitely he was a very good player and my best wishes always to him. But now a day's Busquets is looking so lazy/slow. You can see in last 2-3 seasons all big matches or whose are played speedy football he can't occupied/cover up the opposite attackers. Also due to his broken confidence, maximum times his passes going to backwards and always balls moving in their defence area. that's why Barca aren’t playing attacking football due to Barca's midfields are looking so weak and ball don’t forward to attackers. i hope you recognised sometimes Messi going down to carry the ball due to balls are not passing to forwards to continuations of back passes.

Busquets is a defensive midfielder , do you expect him to simply run all over the place or provide attacking options . Busquets controls the midfield . He does his duty of controlling defence and stopping opponents attack so that the other 2 mids can provide attacking options without worry of tracking back . If you feel there is problem in attack blame other 2 mids for not providing enough , Busquets even takes risks and provides passes for big chances which he usually is not meant to . And for defence problem blame the CB for not doing their job properly , Busquets is the reason why even with that defence with no chemistry we concede comparatively less goals . And he isn't slowing down , it has always been his style of play , if you had problem with it you should not say about last 2-3 years , you must have sa id about it from the start of his career .
