"I know that being decisive in front of goal is one thing I must improve. I'm working on it," Pedri has told RAC1.
Despite being among the players with the most minutes played last season, the 18-year-old scored just 3 goals in La Liga, although he had more opportunities to get his name on the scoresheet.
Some Cules also blame him for his reluctance to attempt long shots at Barca.
Overall, the teenager scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists for Blaugrana last season.
Pedri sheds light on newfound role as Spain starter
"It is the second call up and I didn't know if I would have the weight of being a starter for Spain. I want to try to enjoy these minutes and contribute as much as possible to the team. From day one, Luis Enrique has given me a lot of confidence and has bet on me," Pedri has told RAC1.
Pedri also spoke on Spain's round of 16 match against Croatia which is set to be played on June 28.
"Both Spain and Croatia want to have the ball and if we don't have it, we suffer. Anyway, without the ball we are a tough team to break down. It's going to be a nice game and hopefully we win."
Pedri opens up on playing with Barcelona greats Busquets and Alba
"Playing with Busquets is a show. Jordi Alba? We have only played together for only a year and it seems like it's been longer, it makes things very easy for me.:
The 18-year-old also commented on his breakthrough in the 2020/21 season: "I am always calm and face things normally."
Unexpectedly to many, Pedri became an undisputed starter at Barcelona at only 17 years of age after joining from Segunda Division team Las Palmas. Last season, the Spaniard recorded four goals and six assists in 52 matches for the Catalans.
His good performances at the club level won him a place at the national team. At the 2020 Euros, Pedri has played full 90 minutes in all of Spain's matches so far.
