'I would prefer retirement': Yet another football club approaches Messi, Leo's 'reaction' unveiled

It's already July 3 but Leo Messi remains a free agent.

Since no one have yet signed him, Russian side Spartak Moscow decided to try their luck.

Inventive social media workers modelled their chat with Leo.

"Hi Leo! It's Spartak Moscow again. Maybe you wanna join us now?"

"No. Never. Nunca ['never' in Spanish]. Никогда ['never' in Russian]. Don't ever contact me again. I would prefer retirement."

"Still a 50/50 chance," their Twitter admin writes as a caption.

Spartak Moscow are a 10-time Russian champion and a 12-time Soviet champion. Next season, they play in the Champions League playoffs.

Spartak's biggest star is the Netherlands' Quincy Promes who also played for Ajax and Sevilla.

Messi offered contract with 'worst club in the world'

Leo Messi has been 'offered' a contract by Brazilian club Ibis.

The South America outfit even unveiled a deal draft.

"IT'S OFFICIAL! Today [June 30] is the last of Messi's contract with Barcelona. Starting from tomorrow, he will have a new club."

Here's what the contract offer reads.

"We're happy that your deal is ending. Hence we offer you the chance to play for the worst team in the world.

"The 15-YEAR contract includes a productivity bonus 'if you deserve it'.

"You mustn't score too many goals or 'become a champion' or face the pain of having the contract torn up.

"You can't have the number 10 shirt as it belongs to club legend Mauro Shampoo.

"You have to swear three times in front of a mirror that Pele is better than Diego Maradona."

Ibis have named themselves 'the worst club in the world' – and it's not just self-mockery: in the 1980s, the team went almost four years without a win and scooped the Guinness World Record for this 'achievement'.
