Trincao unwilling to enter Adama swap deal, Barca could offer Alena (reliability: 4 stars)

Barcelona are indeed interested in Adama Traore and would like to land him in a swap deal, Diari ARA's Xavi Hernandez Navarro reports.

The Catalans have sounded Francisco Trincao, it's said, but the 21-year-old is not interested in joining Wolverhampton. The Portuguese is aware that he will have to leave — either on loan or on a permanent transfer with a buyback option — in order to get more playing time next season. However, he would prefer other options ahead of Wolves.

Another option could be offering Carles Alena, in whom the Premier League remain interested. While knowing he will have to leave, the midfielder would prioritize staying in La Liga, though, with Valencia said to be an option.

As for Adama, he himself confirmed that he'd fancy a Camp Nou return. In the 2020/21 season, the 25-year-old played 41 games for Wolves and recorded three goals and three assists.
