PSG continue to study Leo Messi's situation, according to reliable Mohamed Bouhafsi.

The Parisians also monitor Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga as the club could soon make offers for these players.

As a reminder, Messi has been out of contract since June 30.

Earlier, it was claimed by questionable sources that the Parisians are capable of making a better financial contract offer for Messi than Barcelona.

Barca have to reduce wage bill by €187m to be able to register Messi and summer signings for 2021/22: RAC1

Barcelona's wage limit for the 2021/22 season has been set at €160m in contrast to €347m in the previous campaign, according to tier-1 Spanish source RAC1.

It means that Barca have to reduce their salary bill by €187m to be able to register their all four summer signings - Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, Emerson Royal and Memphis Depay for the forthcoming season.

The same applies to Lionel Messi's new deal as the 34-year-old is now a free agent after his contract at the Blaugrana expired on June 30.

As per the source, Barca's wage limit has suffered such drastic changes due to the club's losses of €350m in the 2020/21 season.

As a result, the Catalans hope that Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto and Gerard Pique will all agree to accept massive pay cuts this summer.

The likes of Samuel Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic, Philippe Coutinho, Neto, Martin Braithwaite, Junior Firpo, Clement Lenglet, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann, meanwhile, are all said to be 'absolutely transferable'.

'If Messi stays, Griezmann could leave. Aguero didn't come to be a substitute': Koeman's close friend Lluis Canut

If Lionel Messi stays at Barcelona beyond the summer, Antoine Griezmann could be on his way out of the club, according to Lluis Canut of TV3.

"The attacking trio will be Messi, Aguero and Depay. Aguero didn't come to be a substitute," Ronald Koeman's close friend has told Cat Radio of the Dutchman's plans for the 2021/22 season.

"The system will be a 4-3-3. Messi on the right, Aguero in the centre and Depay on the left.

"If Messi stays, Griezmann could leave."

Messi's contract at the Blaugrana expired on June 30. In order to tie the 34-year-old on a new deal, Barca need to reduce their wage bill massively.

Apparently, Griezmann could be sold this summer as the club's second-highest earner. Moreover, it's hard to envisage the Frenchman getting enough playing time next term following the arrivals for Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay earlier this summer.
