Fan notices 'the difference' between Messi and Ronaldo as captains in 2021

Based on what we've seen at the Euros and the Copa America this year, Barcelona fan and Twitter user @LeoMessiNetwork has made an interesting conclusion about Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as captains of their national teams.

"Messi is shirtless and still wearing it. The difference."

Cristiano Ronaldo threw his captain armband to the ground twice this year: at first, when he had his goal against Serbia unfairly disallowed; then, when Portugal got eliminated from Belgium at Euro 2020.

Messi, in turn, was quite a passionate captain for Argentina this year – this is seen quite clearly in his emotions during the penalty shoot-out against Colombia.
