During Emerson Royal's presentation at Camp Nou, Joan Laporta was asked whether players like Antoine Griezmann could be offloaded this summer so that Barcelona comply with the Financial Fair Play rules.
"I would not like to focus on one player only. If we don't comply with the FFP rules, we won't be able to make more signings," the president said.
"The coach is happy with Griezmann, he is a professional. He fought like one again Stuttgart.
"It's a situation in which we are open to any outcome because there has been interest in him. If the market does not provide an opportunity for him to leave, he has a contract with Barcelona and we have to respect it."
Griezmann is the second best-paid player at the club and the Catalans would reportedly welcome his departure because of it. Antoine would only accept a return to Atletico Madrid, it's been said.
Another option would be for the Frenchman to accept a pay cut and continue at Camp Nou.
