Collado set to join Sheffield United on loan (reliability: 5 stars)

Alex Collado is set to join Sheffield United in the Championship on loan for the 2021/22 season, Diario Sport's reliable Albert Roge reports.

The agreement will not include a buy option, it's claimed. The La Masia graduate has finally accepted the idea that he will have no playing time if he stays at Barcelona.

Fabrizio Romano supports the report, saying that the clubs are set to reach a final agreement.

Collado was promoted to the first team earlier this summer. However, it appears that Ronald Koeman doesn't count on Alex despite the Spaniard having had a key role at the reserves last year.
