Barcelona want to try and register Alex Collado for La Liga, but sources from the league have communicated that there is no legal way to make it happen, Cadena SER"s reliable Adria Albets reports.
Collado's priority is to continue at Barca with the first team. If there is no legal gap, however, the 22-year-old would have to look for a way out or he'll be left without football until January.
It's been reported previously that the Catalans were looking for a club for Alex in a league where the transfer window is still open, like Turkey or Russia.
Collado is currently in limbo after his loan move to Sheffield United fell through at the eleventh hour.
Last season, Collado played 22 matches for Barca B and recorded eight goals and three assists.
