Fabrizio Romano reveals 2 other candidates Barca have on their list

The highly-reputable Fabrizio Romano has revealed what candidates Barcelona have on their list to coach the first team besides Xavi.

"Marcelo Gallardo is appreciated a lot by Barca. He has always been on the list with Roberto Martinez," Romano has said.

"But now the situation is very clear with Xavi as the front-runner and everything will be completed in the next days."

Romano also claimed that it will be very complicated for Barca to land Xavi before the game against Dynamo Kyiv.

The parties already have a verbal agreement and the Catalans are waiting for the coach to terminate his contract with Al Sadd. Xavi wants to be respectful to his current club, it's said.
