Luuk de Jong loses support within club, could leave Barca in January (reliability: 4 stars)

Luuk de Jong has lost the support in the Barcelona dressing room and within the club following Ronald Koeman's departure, Diario AS say.

The club insists that the Dutchman wasn't their signing as they wanted Joao Felix instead. Luuk's arrival was Joan Laporta's concession to Koeman following the transfer of Antoine Griezmann.

Neither current interim manager Sergi Barjuan nor Xavi count on him for the future. It is not excluded that De Jong leaves in January, and even a return to Sevilla is possible.

So far this term, the 31-year-old has played nine matches for Barcelona, five of them from the start, and has scored a goal.
