Barcelona are said to be interested in German sensation Karim Adeyemi. The Catalans are not the only ones in the race for the 19-year-old, but they might have an advantage over the other clubs, and here is why.
"Before it was always my dream to play with the best player in the world, that is with Lionel Messi, at Barcelona. I definitely want to play for a great club in one of the most important leagues," Adeyemi told Transfermarkt back in the day.
In an interview from 2019, Karim confessed that Barca was his favourite club.
"Ever since I've been a little child I've always liked Messi and that's why I think Barca is my favourite football club."
As per reports, Borussia Dortmund were the frontrunners in the race for the Salzburg striker. Let's see if the situation changes with Barca now actively interested as well. Messi might not be here, but Barcelona is still Barcelona.
