After 2 games into his career as Barcelona manager, the signs are clear of the players who will struggle terribly to find a regular place in Xavi's team.
For these 4 men, their time at Barca may be at an end:
Samuel Umtiti
Samuel Umtiti still hasn't seen a minute of action for Barca this season, despite Xavi's arrival.
Big Sam remains a bench warmer. Xavi even preferred to play Araujo who was barely fit against Benfica. And when the Uruguayan couldn't continue, Eric Garcia was preferred.
Luuk de Jong
Barcelona have struggled to find the cutting edge in Xavi's last 2 games. Still, Xavi has not looked the way of Luuk de Jong.
Obviously, he's not in Xavi's plans. If Luuk de Jong can't feature with all the Barcelona strikers injured, things would get even tougher when Ansu and Braithwaite comeback.
Riqui Puig
Someone has to break it to Cules, Xavi doesn't fancy Riqui Puig as much as many were expecting.
Puig didn't start against Espanyol, and sat out the Benfica clash. Read between the lines, Culers.
Philippe Coutinho
Coutinho warmed up for the most of the second half against Benfica but wasn't subbed on by Xavi.
Against Espanyol the Brazilian was handed just 20 minutes.
If things continues in that manner, then Xavi doesn't trust Coutinho. Gavi is his man.
