"I spent many years at Barca and we could say it's my home or my family ot that of my partner, who's from Barcelona," Brighton full-back Marc Cucurella told DAZN, as quoted by Diario Sport.
"I have unfinished business because I made my debut in the first team but I was never able to play for the club at Camp Nou and I think it's something I would like to do before I retire."
Cucurella, who can play anywhere on the left side, started his career at Barcelona. He was promoted to the first team in 2017 and even played for the Catalans in an away Spanish Cup win against Murcia on October 24 that year.
The Spaniard was loaned out to Eibar and Getafe. He joined the Madrid-based side on a permanent deal back in 2020.
The 23-year-old then joined Premier League side Brighton in August this year and has become a first-team player for the Seagulls. He has made 11 appearances with Brighton so far, providing an assist.
