The coming weeks will be crucial in extending the contract of Ousmane Dembele, and, according to Diario Sport's reliable Lluis Miguelsanz, his agent is playing hardball.
The winger's entourage has set Barcelona an ultimatum: they either reach an agreement over an extension during the season or Dembele leaves for free next summer. The Frenchman will not accept to be sold in January.
In order to satisfy Ousmane's side, though, the Catalans will have to improve their financial offer. It's said that Blaugrana are already proposing him a bigger salary than they did at the start of the month.
Starting with January, he is free to enter negotiations with other clubs.
There is avid interest in him in the Premier League, with Newcastle United and Manchester United reportedly ready to offer him a much bigger salary as well as a hefty sign-on bonus to him and his agent.
