Barca 'close' to agreeing CVC deal after rejecting it and losing Messi last summer

According to the reliable Marta Ramon of RAC1, 

 are negotiating the last details with CVC as they want to try and reach an agreement. 

Investment bank Goldman Sachs, which whom Barca worked in the past, have a keen interest in seeing the deal go through. The same information is reported by Diario Sport, who add that the agreement is close. 

The potential economic injection would allow Barca to sign players in January.

The three clubs claim Sustainable Project would save La Liga clubs €12.2bn without losing broadcasting rights.

The letter is signed by Barcelona president Joan Laporta, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Athletic president Aitor Elizegi.

Time will tell if other clubs signed up to Sustainable Project, especially considering Perez and Laporta reportedly irritated many smaller sides by founding the 

The CVC deal, agreed by 17 La Liga clubs in September, would see a  €2.1bn investment into the competition going directly to clubs. In return, buyout firm CVC would receive 11 per cent of the competition's TV rights for the next 50 years. Athletic, Barca and Madrid rejected the deal.

Laporta surprises everyone, claims Barca will accept CVC deal on one condition

 president Joan Laporta considers the CVC deal such a poisoned chalice, he wouldn't dare drink it even if it meant keeping 

However, he surprisingly gave one condition that'll make Barca accept the deal. 

Here's what Laporta said to RAC 1 on Friday: "They are trying to reformulate the terms of the deal, if the terms are changed it is still possible that we accept it."

Laporta went on to say that the CVC deal initially offered would've put Barca in more debt which wasn't ideal.

Especially if the terms remain the same.  

I want to believe that they (Barca) are negotiating on their own terms.  
If not, this would definitely be the height of hypocrisy for me.

Laporta better be given the vote of no confidence and kicked out if he signs, from the very 1st day I've been saying that Laporta deliberately forced Messi out and Tebas has been continuously saying that Laporta could've easily kept Messi but chose to let him leave.
Tebas even asked for a Financial Audit from Laporta and stated that Barca's financial crisis are real but not as bad as Laporta is saying & guess what Laporta refused to be transparent financially whereas he was the one during the elections saying out loud that Barcelona is people's club and it should financially transparent all the time.

Laporta knows he's a hypocrite that's why the negotiations have been kept tightly lipped and away from the media so much so that they are close to agreement, and we are just knowing.

Laporta, a few months ago:

"I cannot mortgage Barcelona's future, even if it means having to let a player like Messi go. No one is greater than the club...blah blah blah."

Messi leaves the club of his life, home and city, in tears. Culérs are left in tears. Players are left a shell of their former selves.

Six months later:

Barcelona down to 8th in the League tables, about 18 points behind the league leader. Out of UCL and down to Europa.

 Suddenly:

Laporta close to signing CVC deal.

Did anyone need a crystal ball to see this coming?

I really do hate the politics of life, and I find now I hate just as much the politics of football. It just taints the beauty and purity of the sport with so much cunning and craftiness. It's anyone's guess what to believe anymore.

The hypocrisy of it all, if this turns out to be true.

Laporta is a fake. He is playing all of us and we are going along with it.  We could have had a competitive squad if he accepts it earlier. He is a a Perez puppet

What a game laporta is playing, if he accept this deal he must go get our messi back, something he should have accepted to keep messi and buy quality players, he rejected it and went and brought luuk dejong on loans who has nothing to offer on the pitch
