"Then, if Barcelona wanted to negotiate, he could have tried to sit down at the table with us to discuss it. Except that there is no discussion and threats not to play on their side anymore. And it's forbidden. We will defend Ousmane Dembele's rights if necessary," Sissoko concluded.

According to multiple sources, there is still no agreement between Barca and Dembele – largely due to the player's hefty financial demands.

The club could send Dembele to the stands if the two parties do not agree on the contract extension.

If I were Xavi I would play Dembele each and every minute , I would play him at the bloody Right Back and make him run up and down the wing for whole day until his ankles and joints of plastic break or his muscles of clay gets pulled , basically make him injured , and force him to sign new contract with Barca with even lower wages than what was offered , once his signature are obtained since no other club would sign a player injured . Then I will ask Ricard Pruna to do some of his magic and recover dembele as quickly as possible , and after his recovery just put him up for sale in next transfer window , simply sell to Arsenal for 40 mil + an extra pound and destroy his career there .
