Barca just one point away from Champions League spot: La Liga standings

Following the away win against Alaves, Barcelona sit in fifth place with 35 points. They are just one point away from the fourth spot.

Here's the La Liga top six.

1. Real Madrid - 50 pts

2. Sevilla - 46 pts

3. Real Betis - 40 pts

4. Atletico Madrid - 36 pts

5. Barcelona - 35 pts

6. Real Sociedad - 34 pts

It's also worth pointing out that Real Sociedad, Barca and Atletico have a game in hand to the remaining teams in the top six.

Incidentally, our next league game will be against Atleti on February 6.

As confirmed by Xavi and other players from the club, Barca's goal for the 2021/22 season is to qualify for Champions League football next season.
