Frenkie de Jong — 8.5
The Dutchman scored the winner and looked decent throughout the game. Frenkie made constant runs into the box and got rewarded in the end.
Besides the goal, De Jong was also useful on both ends of the pitch. He recorded a key pass, completed three dribbles, while also winning all of his five duels and adding two interceptions and one clearance.
Pedri — 8.5
The youngster was the leader of Barcelona's attacks, with almost all dangerous plays having something to do with him.
This is reflected in Pedri's six key passes, five long balls and one big chance created. He contributed in defence as well, winning five of his eight duels and making a tackle.
Sergio Busquets — 7.5
Not the best start to the game from the captain, but he did improve as the game progressed.
While not that useful in the final third, Busquets was crucial in the build-up. He completed 75 passes and 15 long balls. Sergio also won the ball back on numerous occasions, registering six tackles.
Ferran Torres — 7.5
Torres seems to fit Xavi's system perfectly, at least as long as you get the ball to him. Ferran was displayed on both flanks throughout the game, and he did not disappoint. The assist aside, he was useful on the ball and did not lose possession too often.
Sergino Dest — 5
Not the best game from Dest, neither in attack nor in defence. The American won only three of his 11 duels, lost possession 17 times, made two fouls, completed neither of his two attempted crosses.
Others: Ter Stegen — 7.5, Araujo — 7, Pique — 7, Alba — 7, Luuk de Jong — 6.5, Abde — 5.5, Nico — 6.5, Jutgla — n/a, Lenglet n/a.
