Spotted: Barca Femeni throw Atleti player in the air after Supercopa final as she beats cancer

Barcelona Femeni have won the Supercopa Femenina after beating Atletico Madrid Women's side 7-0 in the final.

After the final whistle, it was not the trophy that the Blaugrana players celebrated first. Instead, they threw Atleti's Virginia Torrecilla in the air to celebrate her beating cancer.

Torrecilla was diagnosed with a brain tumour back in 2020. The Supercopa final was her first game back.

Virginia actually played for Barca between 2012 and 2015, making 85 league appearances and scoring seven goals.
