Ilaix Moriba set to return to La Liga as he's not rated in Germany (reliability: 5 stars)

According to the reliable Gerard Romero, "something has gone wrong" with Ilaix Moriba's spell at RB Leipzig.

The German outfit fully intends to offload him, four months after signing him from Barcelona for a decent €16m.

Moriba will arrive in Valencia in a matter of hours, as per Hector Gomez (Romero's source).

The 19-year-old has only played six matches since he signed for Leipzig. He's never started a game or made a goal contribution.

Barcelona tried to extend Moriba's contract back in 2021, but the negotiations fell through due to monetary demands from the player.
