Barca confirm Balde injury, expected time out revealed by reporters

Barcelona have confirmed that Alejandro Balde has suffered an injury to his right ankle during the latest match against Real Madrid Castilla. The club does not specify his recovery time.

Meanwhile, Javi Miguel of Diario AS says that Balde will spend around six weeks on the sidelines.

Alex has effectively been Jordi Alba's only replacement this season at Barca. The Catalans reportedly looked for a left-back during the winter market but could not agree on a deal.

This term so far, the 18-year-old has played 126 minutes across six games for the first team. He started in one game.
