Pjanic says he wants to stay 2 more years at Barcelona

Talking to La Repubblica, Miralem Pjanic was asked whether he plans to return to Italy at some point in the future.

"Barcelona has an important meaning for me, it was a dream I had as a child. I am very proud of my career: Metz, Lyon, Roma and Juve: I spent nine years in Italy, the most important of my career," the midfielder said.

"I love Italian football a lot. For now, I imagine staying in Barcelona for another two years and finishing the contract. Then, we'll see. Never say never."

Pjanic is currently on loan at Besiktas and is set to return to Barca this summer. As per reports in Spain, Xavi doesn't count on Miralem and wants him sold.

In the 2021/22 season, the 32-year-old played 26 games (20 starts) and provided four assists.
