Exactly. What I was thinking whilst reading the article. It’s a inconvenience city can afford to give us that luxury. 

Diaz may have shown he’s the better player for now but ferran has room for improvement in the long term.

Dont forget that Barca got him for 55 million wich is 15 million under the 70 Manchester City initially wanted for him. I think Guardiola had a big part in the reduced price and that Barca pay in installments.
