Riqui Puig: 'I feel disappointed with Xavi'

Speaking in an interview with Diario AS, Riqui Puig said: "I feel disappointed with Xavi and with Barcelona."

The midfielder was speaking about his lack of minutes at the club, even under Xavi, before being shipped out to the United States.

Earlier, Puig complained bitterly about being left out of the Barcelona team that travelled for preseason.

"My last month at Barça was very difficult for me. Leaving a player out of the pre-season tour... I had never seen that before.

"I was with a few other teammates in Barcelona, who they also wanted to force out, while the squad played matches. I was hurt by it."

The midfielder has already played his first game for his new club.
