Liverpool fans have just found out that Ousmane Dembele has a €50m release clause on his recent 2-year contract extension.
Some of them even believe the Frenchman would be the perfect fit to replace... Mohamed Salah.
💭 "Maybe [it is a good option]. When Salah leaves Liverpool of course. But I have a feeling Ben Doak [Liverpool's 16-year-old talent] will take that place within 2 years."
💭 "Emmm why is he so cheap? We should get him rn."
💭 "Very good player but injured 20 games a season so pointless buying if you can't get him on the pitch."

As you see, there are still plenty of those who consider Dembele an undisciplined and injury-prone player. These guys are clearly stuck in 2018!
Anyway, even if Liverpool decide to go for the Frenchman next summer, they should realise that the player's personal desire will be key. Just paying €50m won't be enough to get the deal done.
