Ex-La Masia Deulofeu explains why he'd join Real Madrid but not return to Barca

A few weeks ago, Gerard Deulofeu claimed that he'd be open to a move to Real Madrid but would never go back to Barcelona. That despite him being a La Masia graduate.

Here's how he explained it in a recent interview with Gerard Romero.

"I am very grateful to Barca, I was very happy but the stage is now over. You can’t close the door on a club like Real Madrid. There is nothing else. It was an honest response," the Udinese winger said.

Deulofeu had two chances to break into the first team, and although he always had the potential, he seems to have lacked the attitude. It's no wonder that he doesn't want to give it another time.

The Spaniard seems to have found his place at Unidese where he's a key player on the team.
