Former Barcelona player Martin Braithwaite has recalled his time at the club during one of his recent interviews with 'Club del Deportista'. Despite the criticism he received in the final stretch of his spell at Barca, the Dane claims only good memories remained.
"People see it in different way but I'm happy with the experience. I have great memories and met good people. I can only say good things about my time at Barca".
"It [my departure] was something obvious, after my injury I wasn't playing or getting minutes with the team. I didn't need to hear from anyone. It was just a natural thing, an unspoken agreement that I had to look for something else. But I'm a positive person and I'm in a good position at Espanyol," he explained.
Braithwaite has so far scored 2 goals and assisted one more in 4 appearances for his new club.
