Revealed: Incredible amount Barca will save in wages with Griezmann's sale

Barcelona completed the permanent transfer of Antoine Griezmann to Atletico Madrid earlier this month.

As per Marca, this will now help the Blaugrana save a lot of money on wages as the Frenchman was one of the club’s highest-paid players.

Barca will be able to save nearly €125m from their salary bill after Griezmann joins Atletico.

The French forward was paid around €35m per year, but that will now be saved with his departure.

Griezmann was eager to join Atletico Madrid permanently after realizing that he has no future at Camp Nou.

Barca received only around €20m from his sale, but are being able to save a lot more on wages.
