The Golden Boy awards organized by Tuttosport are mainly known for designating the best U21 player of the year, with 

However, they also hand out several other awards. Here is the full list of winners for the current edition.

With three winners, the Catalans have thus equalled 

 as the club with the most players to be awarded the prize. However, many might not remember who was the first Barca player to be handed the Golden Boy. 

Well, in case you were wondering, it was

Reacting to the most recent news, the Madrid fans don't seem to understand why the awards went to the

CAMAWINGA (Twitter): "Crazy how a Golden Boy winner will play for Getafe in 3 years' time."

"Honestly, I’m not upset about the fact that Camavinga didn’t win it. I’m upset at that Gavi won it. Musíala and Bellingham have been incredible for their respective teams and it honestly would be reasons to choose any of them, but Gavi?"

 "I think Barcelona should be investigated on this, I smell bad business behind the scene, how the hell did Gavi win that ahead of Bellingham and Camavinga?"

If we are talking strictly about Camavinga, the only thing the Madrid midfielder has over Gavi is trophies. The problem, though, is that Eduardo wasn't a crucial player for the Merengues last season. 

He recorded 2 goals and 2 assists in 40 matches but played just 16 games from the start. Gavi, on the other hand, boasts 2 goals and 6 assists in 47 games (36 starts).
