3 assists and one goal: Valverde claims he's not surprised by Dembele after Barca defeat

After the game, the former Barcelona coach who now manages Bilbao 

"This is Ousmane Dembele," Valverde told reporters. 

"He has forgotten about injuries and he became an important player. He is world-class.

"I think Dembele was incredible," Valverde added. 

Dembele has now seven assists in all competitions plus four goals. It's looking like a great campaign for the Frenchman.

In the post-match presser, the 58-year-old admitted that he got outplayed by the young Barca coach.

"Xavi's tactical plan was great. His approach with 4 midfielders and

The Athletic head coach has shared his opinion on Barcelona's struggles this season.

"They are not out of the Champions League yet, there are a couple of games left, and they at a very high level in the League," he said. 

"The other day they lost, but we already know that the defeats there seem to mean more than they are, they always sting, I feel they have enough to go far.

"The thing is that Madrid are in a sweet moment, in which they play easily and well. A League of many points is predicted.

Dembele was perfect yesterday, at a point in the game, he was playing for fun and enjoying it...

Another performance that was top notch was Frenkie... I think we can all agree that, Except Frenkie is Injured or Rested, That Lad should never be Benched... He is a Starting XI material and that's period.
