Barca 'suspect' Memphis is saving himself for World Cup amid long recovery

According to Diario Sport, Barca 'suspect' that Memphis is prioritizing the upcoming World Cup ahead of his club duties. The club think he might be delaying his return so as to avoid the chance of a relapse.

Memphis has had a limited role at Camp Nou this term, playing only 131 minutes across 3 games. The World Cup, on the other hand, is his chance to market himself. It is expected that the 28-year-old will leave at the end of the season when his contract expires.
