Jorginho is finding it tough to negotiate a new contract with Chelsea and his current future is far away from Stamford Bridge, claims Sport.
The Italian midfielder wants the club to double his current salary and give him €13.6m yearly wages to sign a new long-term deal.
This is something that Chelsea aren’t ready to give him and there is a lot of disparity in the valuations. The Blues want to give him wages of around €8m-€9m per year.
Barcelona have gained interest after realizing a lack of harmony between Jorginho and his current club.
They plan on accelerating the negotiations process to convince him to join them as a free agent next season.
Barca also hope to agree a pre-contract with the Italian in January, which will assure them to sign him on a free transfer next summer.
Jorginho could arrive as Sergio Busquets’ replacement, with the Spanish midfielder reportedly set to leave next summer.
