Reason why Barca not sure about signing Foyth named

Barcelona are hesitating to sign Juan Foyth, Mundo Deportivo say. The Catalans want a more offensive-minded right-back than the 24-year-old.

Xavi knows that he can use Araujo and Kounde at right-back if he wants a defensive player to feature there.

Foyth is up there with the best full-backs in the world by a numver of tackles per game (3.2). However, his offensive numbers aren't particularly exciting: just 2.39 progressive passes per game and 0.85 actions leading to a shot.

For comparison, Sergino Dest makes 2.9 progressive passes per game and records 2.42 shot-creating actions — and Dest was considered not good enough by Xavi.
