Spain defender Gaya suffers injury – Alonso or Balde likely to replace him

Spain left-back Jose Gaya suffered an injury in training that is likely to rule him out of the World Cup.

As per Sport, Barcelona defenders Alejandro Balde or Marcos Alonso are in line to be his replacements.

Balde was in consideration for Luis Enrique’s squad, but missed out due to there being set full-back in it.

Now that Gaya suffered an unfortunate injury, either he or Alonso could represent Spain at the World Cup.
