Man United ready to sign Memphis in January on one condition (reliability: 4 stars)

Manchester United are interested in bringing Memphis Depay back to the club in the winter market but only if he arrives for free, Diario Sport claim.

The Red Devils hesitate to spend money on the forward in January when he will be available for free at the end of the season.

Prior reports suggest that Barcelona would be open to letting Memphis leave for free as they need to lighten the wage bill. The Dutchman is open to an exit as well, although it's unclear whether he'd be willing to move back to Man United.

Depay has had a limited role at Barca this season. The 28-year-old made just three appearances and scored one goal.
