Messi gives clever response to being asked about post-match chat with Lewandowski

Lionel Messi shared a little chat with Robert Lewandowski after Argentina’s 2-0 win over Poland at the World Cup.

The two were spotted talking about something after the game which excited many Barcelona fans.

When asked about exactly what he spoke about with Lewandowski after the game, Messi said: “I was taught that whatever happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. Same with the dressing room. I will never reveal what we said to each other privately."

Unless the Polish striker reveals what was said, we’ll never get to know what the two fantastic forwards spoke about after the game.

While some fans hoped that it could be Leo admitting his desire to return to Barca, it was probably just the two clearing out any misunderstandings after Messi ignored a handshake gesture from Lewandowski earlier in the game.
