Chelsea have been stacking players during the winter market and have bolstered the midfield. This, according to Diario Sport's Lluis Miguelasnz, means that it will be difficult for N'Golo Kante to continue at Stamford Bridge beyond this season, with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Barcelona are among the clubs keeping a close eye on the Frenchman. However, there is no definitive decision on Kante -- while the coaching staff likes the 31-year-old for his attributes, there are concerns regarding his fitness.
N'Golo picked up a hamstring injury at the start of the season and hasn't played since then. The Catalans want to first look at how Kante performs post-injury before approaching him with an offer.
