The coach believes that the forward suffers from a lack of confidence and aims to get him more playing time in the coming weeks. Xavi likes Torres for his attributes and profile as he can play in all three spots up front.
Ferran has barely featured since returning from the World Cup and has only started two games since then -- the cup clashes against minnows Intercity and Ceuta.
In total, the 22-year-old has featured in 25 games (9 starts) for Barca and contributed with five goals and one assist.
