One goal at Camp Nou since World Cup: Lewandowski still leads La Liga golden boot race

Since returning from the World Cup in December, Robert Lewandowski has only scored one goal at Camp Nou after four matches. That goal came last night against Cadiz in Barcelona's 2-0 win.

However, the Polish striker is still leading the race for La Liga golden shoe with 15 goals from 19 matches.

Here's what the top five best scorers in La Liga look like:

1. Lewandowski - 15 goals, 19 games

2. Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) - 11 goals, 13 games

3. Joselu (Espanyol) - 11 goals, 19 games

4. Borja Iglesias (Real Bestis) - 9 goals, 20 games

5. Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo) - 9 goals, 22 games.

Benzema seems to be coming really close to Lewandowski despite playing fewer games. But a closer look shows the Frenchman has scored five penalty goals whereas Lewandowski is yet to be awarded a penalty this season.

I think that goal for Lewy against Cadiz was a really important goal for him. The last couple of games he looked frustrated and it really showed that Lewy was more relaxed in second half untill he got subbed off.
